The President talks with the governors of Punjab and GB about development projects.

Today, President Asif Ali Zardari received separate calls from Governors Sardar Saleem Haider Khan of Punjab and Syed Mehdi Shah of Gilgit-Baltistan in Islamabad.

Views on the province’s general administrative state and public welfare initiatives were discussed during his meeting with Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan.

The President stated that in order to effectively handle public issues, there must be effective collaboration between the federal government and the provinces.

He met with Syed Mehdi Shah, the governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, and they had a thorough conversation about public welfare programs and development projects in the area.

The President underlined how important it is to keep working to upgrade Gilgit-Baltistan’s public amenities and infrastructure.
