Due to violent protests on Adiala Road, the sisters of the PTI founder and others were arrested.

Due to violent demonstrations on Rawalpindi’s Adiala Road, authorities have filed a lawsuit against the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan and other 400 party activists.

According to the FIR, there were protests, sit-ins, and acts of arson during the protest, and some participants even attacked police officers.

Aleema Khan, Dr. Uzma, Noreen Niazi, National Assembly member Shahid Khattak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Meena Khan Afridi, Shafi Jan, Senator Mirza Afridi, Iqbal Khan Afridi, Naeem Panjotha, Tanveer Aslam Raja, and Shafqat Awan are among the individuals named in the case.

41 leaders were immediately arrested during the demonstration. Protesters threw stones at nine police officers, seriously injuring them in addition to several other cops.

Thirteen vehicles were confiscated by police, and they found items purportedly intended to create petrol bombs, including as matches, cotton, sticks and glass bottles filled with petrol from a car registered LLF 2819.

According to the FIR, the accused damaged a government car, stopped important routes, interfered with public life, and attempted to use violence to put political pressure on the Punjab administration. Aleema Khan is said to have called the demonstration.

Charges of sedition, terrorism, attempted murder, and opposition to the government have been filed at the City Saddar Police Station.
