The minister is optimistic about the conclusion of the peace negotiations between the US and Iran.

“Long live Pakistan” chants are being yelled in Iranian streets, according to former foreign minister Khurram Dastgir, who said that Pakistan has acted as a mediator between Iran and the US with good intentions.
Khurram Dastgir told the media here on Saturday that Pakistan took a moral stand and is now seen as an inspiration worldwide.
According to Khurram Dastgir, both parties trusted Pakistan more than any other nation in the globe.
He stated that 70,000 Palestinians were killed in Gaza, that “we expect positive progress from the negotiations,” and that China is supporting Pakistan in bringing Iran to the ceasefire table.
The former minister stated that the conflict had an impact on the entire globe, that Islamabad is today under international scrutiny, and that Iran’s guarantee is a legitimate demand.
According to Khurram Dastgir, the world’s top goal right now is to open the Strait of Hormuz. Economic concerns will be settled first, followed by defence issues, and a framework will be chosen following the negotiations.
Even hardliners will be silenced if the Strait of Hormuz is opened and economic sanctions are lifted, according to Khurram Dastgir, and quick action on economic matters may be taken.
