KP Chief Minister Afridi has a non-bailable arrest warrant issued by an Islamabad court.

On Monday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was given non-bailable arrest warrants by a District and Sessions Court in the federal capital due to accusations that he had made false statements against state institutions and damaged their reputation.
Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah gave the order for him to be taken into custody and brought before the court. The hearing was later postponed till April 16 by him.
The National Counter Corruption and Investigation Authority (NCCIA) has filed a case against Afridi under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
