As the Strait of Hormuz reopens, Pakistan reduces the price of diesel by Rs 32.12.

In what officials call a “relief step” in response to the easing of global oil supply restrictions associated with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, Pakistan has announced a reduction in diesel prices by Rs 32.12 per litre, bringing the new cost down from Rs 385.54 to Rs 353.43.
The updated fuel prices coincide with the stabilization of global oil markets following weeks of volatility brought on by interruptions in one of the most important energy chokepoints in the globe.
The recent regional conflict caused significant stress and partial disruption in the Strait of Hormuz, which transports almost one-fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas, leading to substantial increases in gasoline prices across the globe.
