As 3,510 more Pakistanis depart for Saudi Arabia, the Hajj process picks up steam.

Pilgrims are continuously departing from various cities as the Hajj flying operation for 2026 gains traction throughout Pakistan.

A representative for Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs claims that 21 flights have already sent 5,250 government-sponsored pilgrims to Medina.

Thirteen more aircraft are scheduled to take 3,510 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. These comprise two flights each from Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Quetta, and four flights from Islamabad. One flight will also take off from Sialkot.

According to the government, Saudia, Airblue, AirSial, and Pakistan International Airlines, the country’s airline, are taking part in the initiative to guarantee pilgrims’ prompt and comfortable travel.

In the meantime, preparations are underway at ten Hajj camps throughout the nation, where pilgrims are gradually receiving training, travel documents, and immunizations. According to authorities, further steps have been taken to guarantee efficient operations.

Employees from the Ministry of Religious Affairs are positioned on stage to help pilgrims during their journey.

The spokesperson further stated that thousands more pilgrims are anticipated to leave for the holy land in the upcoming days, and the Hajj flight operation will continue unhindered till May 31.
