Modi used Pahalgam incident to target minorities: Ramesh Singh Arora

Punjab Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora has alleged that Modi has used the Pahalgam event to crackdown on minorities and to attack their holy places of worship.
Addressing a news conference on the subject of Pahalgam False Flag and atrocities on the minority population in India, Ramesh Singh Arora said that Pakistan is a peace loving country but India tried to commit aggression against Pakistan in the pretext of the Pahalgam event.
He added that violence against minorities in India is not a new occurrence and the tragedy in Pahalgam has instead brought honour to Pakistan at the international level while India is experiencing diplomatic isolation. He further alleged that the secular image of India was exposed to the world.
Arora added that “Pakistan has set a wonderful example by opening the Kartarpur Corridor but the Christian community in India is not even allowed to celebrate Christmas.
“Different forms of violence are being perpetrated on Muslims in India,” Ramesh Singh Arora remarked. “There is no comparison between Pakistan and India so far as the rights of minorities are concerned. “All citizens have religious freedom, equal rights and full protection of the state without any discrimination in Pakistan,” he added.
Minister of State for Religious Affairs Khalid Das Kohistani remarked in a press conference that no faith allows terrorism and India unjustly associated the Pahalgam event with Pakistan.
In Pakistan, he remarked, all religions people celebrate their festivals together. “The Modi government is using the government machinery against minorities. Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has been turned into a torture chamber and no minority is safe in India,” he said.
Member of National Peace Committee Rajesh Kumar Hardasani claimed that for political benefits Modi has hurt the identity of Hinduism and tried to split Hindus and Muslims in India.
Bishop Nadeem Kamran further said that Pakistan enjoys good religious peace and the sites of worship of minorities are secure in the country.
The press conference also showed a documentary on alleged abuses of minorities in India, as well as footage of religious freedom and safety of minorities in Pakistan.
