Exports of US crude oil and petroleum products have reached unprecedented levels.

During the week concluding on April 17, US exports of crude oil and petroleum products attained over 12.9 million barrels per day, establishing new record highs, as reported by the US Energy Information Administration.

Agency statistics indicate an increasing tendency in the nation’s recent total crude oil and product exports, according to CCTV.

Between April 11 and 17, crude oil exports averaged over 4.8 million barrels per day, while crude oil product exports reached nearly 8.1 million barrels per day, both establishing new records.

Matt Smith, an analyst at Kepler, asserted that as the conflict in the Middle East persists, the global market is compelled to seek alternate suppliers for crude oil and petroleum products, resulting in an increase in US fuel exports.

Nevertheless, certain analysts cautioned that while the surge in US gasoline exports has yielded significant profits for energy companies, the escalating fuel costs are expected to exacerbate domestic inflation.
