The MQM-P is an ordinary people’s party and does not require electability. Maqbool Khalid

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), stated on Tuesday that the party is made up of regular people and does not require electors.
Speaking at a news conference in Karachi, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui claimed that the term “electable” is now used disparagingly in politics.
He claimed that the cost of a Senate seat has increased to Rs 740 million due to the high cost of politics. “We could have made Rs 500 million for each Senate seat if we had sold two,” he continued.
According to Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, tickets were also issued to Faisal Sabzwari and a primary school teacher who holds a double master’s degree. He went on to say that after running for office once, he backed another candidate.
