Four died, nine injured in traffic accident on Nowshera Virkan road

Four persons were killed and nine others injured in a fatal road accident in Nowshera Virkan city of Punjab province on Friday night,

Details said the disaster took place when five motorcyclists ran into a mini-truck parked on the roadside killing four persons on the spot while nine others were wounded.

On being alerted, police and rescue teams attended the area and shifted the deceased and injured to hospital. The deceased were named as Ali Haider, Hamza, Faisal and Sabnam Bibi, rescue sources said.

The dead bodies were then handed over to their heirs after fulfillment of medico legal processes. Police meanwhile have opened an inquiry,
