Saudi cabinet calls for negotiations to end Iran-US war

The Saudi cabinet advocated for a solution to the Iran-US war through diplomacy, saying that dialogue is necessary to resolve the dispute.
The Saudi cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, emphasized the need for de-escalation across the region.
Saudi media reported that the cabinet said that it is necessary to resolve the Iran-US war through discussions.
The cabinet also hailed the historic deal to cease hostilities in Gaza and commended the contributions played by Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, the United States and other mediation countries to obtain the Gaza peace agreement.
The cabinet also hailed the establishment of the Saudi-led international marine defence alliance, and reaffirmed its commitment to the security of maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden, Saudi media reported.
