An 8-year-old boy in Lahore is killed by an open manhole.

In the Hanjarwal neighbourhood of Lahore, an 8-year-old kid perished after slipping into an uncovered manhole.

The boy, named as Hakeemullah, was playing in the vicinity when he fell into the open manhole, according to witnesses.

When rescue workers arrived on the scene, they took the youngster to a hospital so they could receive medical care. But he passed away from his wounds.

After learning of the occurrence, police arrived on the site and took the child’s body into custody.

In addition to starting legal actions, police have opened an investigation into the incident.
