As investors consider regional instability, the PSX drops 500 points.

The increasing tensions between the US and Iran caused the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to turn negative on Tuesday, falling 500.35 points to 180,002.09 points.

The KSE-100 index fluctuated between an intraday high of 180,602.44 points and a low of 179,458.65 points, starting from a level below the previous close. 193,008,824 shares were traded during the session.

In the last trading session, the KSE-100 finished at 180,502.44 points.

The benchmark index had a good session the day before, closing at 180,502.45 points, up 397.83 points, or 0.22%, from 180,104.61 points the day before.
