Pakistan, Kuwait pledge to strengthen ties

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar had a telephonic discussion with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Foreign Office official said.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral ties and issues of mutual importance during the talks, the spokesperson added.

Both the foreign ministers highlighted the need of further enhancing the strong and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.

Dar told the Foreign Office that discussion and diplomacy were the only way forward toward peace and stability, it added.
