Reports of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s engagement in Europe emerge, PPP denies claim

Reports suggest that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is engaged and will be getting married soon. Sources reveal that the event is linked to the European country of Liechtenstein.
Reports say the fiancée of Bilawal is from Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. Sources said President Asif Ali Zardari along with some other family members has went to Liechtenstein to negotiate and fix the date for his son’s wedding.
Liechtenstein is a tiny sovereign state in Western Europe between Switzerland and Austria. The capital, Vaduz, is the political and administrative center of the country and is surrounded by stunning alpine scenery.
The sources added that Bilawal’s wedding ceremony is anticipated to take place by the end of this year. But PPP has outrightly denied the reports.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, who is also spokesperson for PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, rejected media rumours about the engagement or marriage.
Wahab said on social media Saturday that “the reports were incorrect and unfounded.”
“The news story about the engagement or wedding of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was incorrect and unfounded,” he added.
The rumours remain unsubstantiated as there has been no official announcement from Bilawal Bhutto Zardari or his family confirming the reported engagement. The party’s official position on the topic is now the rejection of the PPP.
