As Islamabad experiences intense rain, a traffic advisory is issued.

As the federal capital continued to experience heavy rain, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) issued a traffic advisory on Tuesday, cautioning that water buildup on several roadways could hinder traffic and encouraging residents to give themselves more time for their travels.

In order to prevent collisions, drivers and motorcyclists should slow down in the rain and keep a safe distance from cars in front of them, an ITP spokesman told APP.

In addition to staying in their lane and using side mirrors, indicators, and seat belts correctly, the official encouraged drivers to use fog lights when it rains.

For their protection, motorcyclists were instructed to wear helmets, stay in the far left lane, and maintain a modest pace.
