22,172 pilgrims pay second Hajj instalment under government scheme

A total of 22,172 pilgrims have finished paying the second part of their Hajj fees under the government program, with a total of Rs14.17 billion collected so far.
A representative from the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that 12,743 pilgrims made the second payment through OneLink from their homes, 1,089 used bank cards, and 8,340 paid by depositing the amount through manual bank forms.
The representative mentioned that more than 55 percent of the payments were made online via the Digital Hajj Portal from home.
The ministry has set October 20 as the last date for pilgrims under the government scheme to pay the second instalment of their Hajj fees.
Pilgrims are also required to upload their medical fitness certificates on the Hajj Portal before making the second payment.
The second instalment can be paid through OneLink, bank cards, or manual bank challans using the Hajj Portal provided by the National IT Board.
