A deadly assault on DI Khan’s police training facility was stopped, killing six terrorists and martyring seven cops.

Six terrorists were killed when security forces repulsed a deadly attack on Dera Ismail Khan, the police training school in Ratta Kulachi. However, during the fierce gunfight, seven courageous police officers lost their lives.
The Central Police Office claims that the perpetrators, known as Khawarij (militant extremists), caused a huge explosion when they crashed a truck loaded with explosives into the school’s main gate. After the explosion, the terrorists rushed the training center with heavy weaponry while wearing a variety of disguises.
According to officials, police officers reacted heroically and engaged in a heated gunfight. Throughout the conflict, the assailants kept throwing grenades. RPO Syed Ashfaq Anwar and DPO Sahibzada Sajjad Ahmed were on the scene, supervising the response activities.
According to the Central Police Office, all six terrorists were killed after a five-hour-long police and security force-led operation. They were found in possession of firearms, ammo, explosives, and suicide vests.

About 200 people were successfully evacuated from the facility, including all trainee recruits and staff, while seven injured police officers were taken to the hospital.
Zulfiqar Hameed, the Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, verified that the area was cleared and that a search and cleanup effort is still in progress. In addition to announcing prizes for all officers and staff involved in the successful operation, he commended the RPO and DPO’s leadership.
Additionally, the IGP prayed for the martyrs’ ranks to be raised and underlined that their efforts would not be in vain.
The Interior Minister honors dead heroes
Mohsin Naqvi, the federal interior minister, paid heartfelt homage to the seven police officers who accepted martyrdom and vehemently denounced the terrorist act. He prayed for the injured’s quick recovery and offered his sincere condolences to the families of the departed.
According to Minister Naqvi, the police officers gave their lives in order to stop a significant terrorist plot. He declared, “They courageously held their ground and destroyed the evil plans of the Khawarij terrorists.”
