A minitruck falls into a canal in Sargodha, killing 14 people and injuring nine more.

Late Friday night in Sargodha, a mini-truck plunged into a canal because of heavy fog, killing at least 14 people and injuring numerous more.

Details indicate that the unfortunate minitruck was transporting 23 individuals who were scheduled to attend a funeral. Because of the dense fog, visibility was poor and it fell into the Ghullapur Canal.

The canal was dry, according to the rescue sources, and everyone who was stuck beneath the car perished.

The deceased and injured have been taken to the hospital by police and rescue personnel. Rescue sources said that three injured people were in severe condition, therefore the death toll may increase.
