A young boy dies after falling into a sewage pond in Rawalpindi.

A five-year-old kid died after inadvertently falling into a sewage pond within a private housing society in the Iqbal Town region of Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Five-year-old Zubair was playing outside his residence when he fell into a sewage pond. Law enforcement and rescue personnel arrived at the location upon notification, recovered the deceased from the pond, and transported the corpse to the hospital.

Subsequently, law enforcement transferred the deceased to the heirs following the completion of medico-legal formalities and requisite legal procedures.
