Abid Sher Ali demands that the net metering regulation be reviewed.

Abid Sher Ali, the head of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), called for a review of the net metering policy on Tuesday.
Speaking on a private TV show, Abid Sher Ali stated that the government’s choice is incorrect and that the populace is angry about it. He claimed that Parliament ought to have discussed the issue.
He warned that there will be repercussions for breaking the net metering rules and said the administration should have developed it with member consent before putting it into effect.
Earlier, during Senate session, Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Leghari successfully defended NEPRA’s decision regarding solar net metering, while the House rejected, by majority vote, a resolution on solar net metering presented by PTI Senator Zarqa Suharwardy.
