According to Aseefa Bhutto, empowering women is essential to opening possibilities for sustainable development.

“The key to unlocking the doors of sustainable development is empowering women,” First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari stated on Friday.
Speaking at a women’s empowerment celebration in Doha, Aseefa Bhutto stated that equitable involvement from men and women is essential to the advancement of the country. Pakistan has made groundbreaking measures to empower women, she continued.
She recalled the accomplishments of Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah and Benazir Bhutto, the first female prime minister of the Muslim world, as she considered Pakistan’s proud history of female leadership.
Aseefa Bhutto went on to say that Pakistani women’s empowerment is a reflection of the bravery and vision of certain remarkable women. She also valued international initiatives to empower women and advance gender equality.
