According to the JI chairman, the current system denies people the right to life.

According to Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), the current system denies individuals the right to life.
“No government is willing to hold local government elections; if they were held, powers were not delegated to the grassroots,” the JI chairman said in a statement released here on Wednesday.
“Right now, people’s survival is more important than votes. Pakistan’s civic government structure has been ruined.
Elections for local government are something that no government wants to do. They don’t grant them powers when they do. Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islami, stated.
The problems can be solved if people are led honestly. The JI head went on to say that there is no one to provide guidance and job prospects to the young people.
