After attending the COP30 Conference in Brazil, CM Maryam travels to London.

Sources claim that Maryam Nawaz will spend one day in London before traveling to Pakistan. Due to the COP30 summit, Maryam Nawaz spent five days in Brazil.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized the necessity of teamwork in the fight against climate change during her speech at the COP30 meeting.
According to her, Punjab, the “land of five rivers,” is using cutting-edge technologies to address environmental issues. Every street and neighborhood is kept clean as part of the Suthra Punjab (Clean Punjab) effort.
The chief minister went on to say that all polluting enterprises and brick kilns are closely watched. Significant steps are being taken by the provincial administration to save forests and animals, with a focus on extensive tree planting initiatives.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that protecting forests is essential to combating climate change. Drone technology is being utilized to monitor forest protection efforts while ensuring transparency and merit in all sectors.
She added that the idea of a “Green and Digital Punjab” is being fulfilled through the promotion of electric cars and e-bikes, and that contemporary technology is being used to protect wildlife.
She held significant meetings in addition to attending the COP30 summit. On the fringes of the COP30 Conference, the Chief Minister of Punjab met with Valerie Hickey, Global Director of the World Bank’s Climate Change Group.
The goal of the meeting was to improve cooperation for Punjab’s green growth, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability projects.
