After falling at home, former head of the Pakistan Army Qamar Bajwa went to the hospital.

It was learned on Wednesday that former Pakistan Army chief General (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa hurt himself when he fell at home.
Reports say that the former top general has been sent to a hospital, where he is still being treated. There were no more medical data right away about the type of injuries he had or how he was doing.
Who is Bajwa Gen (r)?
Qamar Javed Bajwa is a retired four-star general who was the 16th Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army from November 2016 to November 2022. General Syed Asim Munir took his post as Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).
Qamar Javed Bajwa joined the Pakistan Army in 1980 as a member of the Baloch Regiment. He worked his way up through the ranks over the course of more than 40 years. Before he took over as head of the army, he held a number of important roles, such as Corps Commander of X Corps in Rawalpindi, which is one of the military’s most strategically important units.
He was also the Inspector General for Training and Evaluation at General Headquarters, where he was in charge of making sure that the whole army was ready for action and that training standards were high. He also worked internationally, particularly on United Nations peacekeeping efforts in places like Congo.
Bajwa was the army chief for three more years, which meant he might stay in position until November 2022. His longer term came at a time when there were security problems, changing regional dynamics, and important political changes in his own country.
He was clearly involved in national security and counterterrorism operations, as well as in high-level talks about regional diplomacy. During his term in power, the military leadership was also involved in talks on economic stability and forming strategic partnerships with foreign governments, such as the US and Gulf countries.
After he retired in November 2022, Bajwa has mostly stayed out of the public eye.
