All routes from Punjab to Balochistan are closed in DG Khan.

Authorities stated on Saturday that all highways linking Punjab to Balochistan through Dera Ghazi Khan have been stopped.

Deputy Commissioner Usman Khalid announced that the primary routes to Balochistan, including the Fort Munro route and the Taunsa–Musa Khel Road, are closed till further notice.

He stated that people are presently prohibited from traveling to Balochistan via DG Khan due to security concerns.

Traffic has been halted at border regions connecting Balochistan, specifically Bawata and Sakhi Sarwar, to restrict passage across the provincial boundary.

It is noteworthy that the previous day, multiple terrorist attacks were thwarted in various cities of Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers, at the hands of security personnel.

Officials stated that the road closures are a preventative security measure to uphold law and order following previous incidents.
