The current regional environment and general security dynamics in the region were thoroughly reviewed at the meeting.

The role of Pakistan and other initiatives to advance regional peace and stability were also covered.

The situation in Afghanistan was also thoroughly discussed during the discussion.

The state of internal security in the nation and the measures taken to maintain law and order were also explained to the participants.

The scenario that arose after the U.S. and Israel’s attack on Iran was also discussed during the discussion, along with the events that followed the attacks throughout the Middle East and Gulf nations.

The meeting examined plans for the evacuation of Pakistani citizens from Iran in accordance with the prime minister’s orders.

A thorough briefing on the measures being taken to guarantee their safe return was provided by the Foreign Office.

It was told that Azerbaijan is helping to facilitate the exodus.

Senior civil and military authorities, including with Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Mohsin Naqvi, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Ahad Khan Cheema, Attaullah Tarar, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Gen. Asim Munir, attended the meeting.
