An 8-year-old boy suffered injury in a lion attack in Sabzazar, Lahore.

An eight-year-old youngster was assaulted by a lion in the Sabzazar region of Lahore on Saturday, resulting in severe injuries.
The police reported that the incident occurred in the Sabzazar region of Lahore, where the child, identified as Wajid Ali, allegedly approached pet lions while playing. The assault transpired as a result of insufficient safety measures and the owners’ incompetence.
The police reported that the injured youngster was transported to Ganga Ram Hospital for medical care, while the farm proprietors, Umar Iqbal and Ali Iqbal, were apprehended.
A representative for the DIG Operations stated that the proprietors originally sought to obscure the occurrence from law enforcement. The injured child was initially transported to a nearby hospital, where the accompanying folks informed the doctors that the infant’s hand had been ensnared in a machine. Subsequently, medical personnel disclosed that the injuries were indicative of an animal assault.
The physicians opted to amputate the child’s arm to preserve his life. A police team, led by SP Iqbal Town, arrived to the hospital and initiated an official investigation based on information obtained from independent sources.
It is noteworthy since not two days prior, a young child sustained injuries from a lion assault. Subsequent to that occurrence, law enforcement executed operations and apprehended approximately 16 lions.
