Another ventilator made in Pakistan is “registered” by DRAP.

The clinical studies for Essence Industries Karachi’s innovative ventilator have been successfully concluded, according to the facts.

In addition to granting Essence Industries a license for its domestic manufacturing, DRAP has formally registered the Innovative ventilator. The ventilators would not only satisfy domestic demand but also be exported, boosting Pakistan’s economy.

DRAP sources noted that the innovative ventilator is specifically made for usage by older patients and has a five-year shelf life.

DRAP CEO Dr. Asim Rauf stated in an exclusive interview with ARY News that marketing medical equipment and medications made in Pakistan is a top priority.

“The sale of domestically made ventilators will bring in a substantial amount of foreign cash for Pakistan, which has entered a new phase in its pharmaceutical industry. These life-saving devices will also represent Pakistan’s international renown, Dr. Asim Rauf said.

He added that the success of medical equipment made in Pakistan is a testament to the nation’s dedication to innovation and expanding technological prowess., the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) registered the “i-LIVE,” an ICU ventilator that was produced domestically, earlier in 2021.

PAEC, the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, invented the life-supporting machine.

Following a comprehensive technical review, the i-LIVE ventilator was registered under the DRAP Act 2012 for a five-year period, according to Dr. Asim Rauf, the organization’s chief executive officer.
