As impoverished households struggle, Sheikh Rashid calls on Chief Justice Yahya Afridi to consider appeals.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, a former federal minister, has made an appeal to the Chief Justice, claiming that impoverished households are struggling greatly and that their concerns have to be taken into consideration.
Sheikh Rashid told reporters outside the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi that a case has been filed against him despite though he was not in Pakistan on May 9. He went on to say that hundreds of impoverished individuals are presently incarcerated.
He claimed that individuals are unable to maintain their cooking fires because of unemployment and inflation. Sheikh Rashid stated that the Chief Justice should pay attention because the hearing of appeals has already been delayed for a considerable amount of time.
In order to eventually reach a conclusion in the May 9 cases, he also asked that people’s appeals be heard.
