As the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gets ready to reveal the T20 team for the forthcoming trip of Sri Lanka, key players are anticipated to return.

The selectors are currently holding meetings as part of the T20 series selection process in Sri Lanka.

All-rounder Shadab Khan is reportedly expected to return to the squad, and fast bowler Haris Rauf is also being considered. After being benched for the Tri-Series and the series against South Africa, Rauf now seems to be back in the running.

Ahmed Daniyal, a quick bowler, and Maaz Sadaqat, a young cricket player, may also be added to the team.

The dates of the three Twenty20 matches in Sri Lanka are January 7, 9, and 11. Furthermore, the ICC T20 World Cup preliminary team submission date is January 7.

India and Sri Lanka will host the World Cup from February 7 to March 8.
