As the regional conflict intensifies, Pakistan issues an urgent advisory for its citizens in Iran.

In an emergency travel advisory, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly advised its citizens to refrain from any optional travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The action follows a massive joint military operation by Israel and the United States against Iranian targets on Saturday, which has thrown the Middle East into a new and tense military conflict.
Pakistani nationals living in Iran have been told by the Foreign Office to be extremely careful, stay alert, and limit their non-essential travel. As the security situation continues to change, citizens have been instructed to maintain continuous communication with Pakistani diplomatic missions.
Following a 12-day air war between Israel and Iran in June of last year, the joint US-Israeli strikes mark a significant escalation. The capital Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah were among the major Iranian cities that were the target of the attacks.Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the start of the operation, saying, “The State of Israel launched a preemptive attack against Iran to remove threats to the State of Israel.”
Iranian state media said that the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s office was one of the targets targeted by the explosions that shook the capital. The Supreme Leader has reportedly been moved to a safe, undisclosed location and was not in Tehran at the time of the strike.
