As the temperature falls to -21°C, Hunza marks the lowest temperature in the nation.

Pakistan is still experiencing a severe cold wave, with chilly winds blowing across the plains and considerable snowfall in the country’s northern mountainous regions.
Hunza is the coldest place in the nation, with temperatures as low as minus 21 degrees Celsius.
An international weather website reports that Quetta saw a low of -1°C early on Sunday morning, while Hunza reported a minimum temperature of -20°C. Temperatures of 2°C in Islamabad, 3°C in Lahore, 4°C in Peshawar, and 7°C in Karachi were recorded in other major cities.
Road connectivity has been hampered and the cold has gotten worse due to snowfall over Babusar Top, Nanga Parbat, and other northern regions. Hunza saw temperatures drop to -21°C, Astore to -19°C, Chilas to -11°C, and Kalat to -8°C.
In the meantime, Punjab’s life was still disrupted by the severe cold and thick fog, which forced the closure of roadways.
Vehicles were not allowed to enter the M2 Motorway from Lahore to Kot Momin, the M3 from Faizpur to Darkhana, or the M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Multan due to the poor visibility.
Vehicles are also prohibited from entering M11 Lahore to Sambrial and M5 Multan to Rohri. The national highways in Lahore, Manga Mandi, Pattoki, Okara, Sahiwal, and Ahmedpur Sharqia are also affected by fog.
In Mian Channu, Khanewal, Multan, Basti Maluk, Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Sadiqabad, the dense fog also impeded traffic flow.
