Asif calls on PTI to adopt a more conversational mindset.

On Thursday, Khawaja Asif, the Minister of Defense, encouraged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to alter its mindset in order to start a conversation with the government.

In an interview with a private television channel, he stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should also fully back security agencies in their fight against terrorism.

He claimed that because of the PTI’s previous regime’s lax policies, we are dealing with terrorism in the provinces.

He said that PTI leaders ought to own their previous errors. When asked about conversations with Afghans, he responded that in order to adequately solve our nation’s terrorism problems, Pakistan requires a formal document from Afghan authorities.
