As the thirty-first ambassador of Pakistan to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh gave President Joseph R. Biden Jr. his letter of credence.
Senior Administration Officials from the United States and members of the diplomatic community attended the ceremony at Blair House.
Ambassador Rizwan Sheikh noted in his remarks that there is a long history of cooperative connections between Pakistan and the United States, and that these relationships have been built on a number of pillars.
In addition to continuing to invest in their relationship, the two nations are boosting up collaboration in trade, investment, energy, health, and climate change. The ambassador recalled U.S. assistance to Pakistan, particularly during its early stages of statehood.
