Attaullah Tarar announces Ishrat Fatima’s return to PTV as a mentor.

On Thursday, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced the reinstatement of veteran broadcaster Ishrat Fatima to national television as a mentor for emerging newsreaders and broadcasters.
The minister announced the information via media in the presence of the renowned broadcaster at her apartment in Islamabad.
The minister conveyed his appreciation to Ishrat Fatima for agreeing to return to Pakistan Television (PTV) as an expert and mentor. He observed that her skills would be crucial in instructing novices in the craft of news reading and reporting across diverse situations.
The minister stated, “She is an experienced newsreader with a distinguished career.” “Every Pakistani recognises her voice, as she possesses over forty-five years of experience and service to the nation.”
“Subsequent to her retirement from Radio Pakistan, I personally solicited her to join PTV to mentor the forthcoming generation and advocate for the Urdu language.” Throughout her career, she upheld professional integrity devoid of any political affiliations.
The seasoned broadcaster articulated to the media that news reading has been her enduring passion and expressed gratitude to the minister for bestowing this responsibility upon her.
Ishrat Fatima expressed her eagerness to educate the next generation and enhance the institution’s progress. She also asked the government to persist in promoting proficient professionals across all sectors.
