Attending the Munich Security Conference is Field Marshal Asim Munir.

According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) here on Saturday, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Defense Forces, attended the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is now on a three-day official visit to Germany, where he attended the 62nd Munich Security Conference, according to a statement released by the ISPR.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other officials met with the Field Marshal, according to the Army’s Public Relations Department.
The discussion with the US Secretary of State included counterterrorism cooperation and regional security.
The Field Marshal also met with the German Chief of Defense, Foreign Affairs Advisor, and Interior Minister, the release noted.
Current security challenges, bilateral defense cooperation, and the necessity of advancing international peace and security through bilateral and multilateral discourse were the main topics of discussion at the meetings.
The conversation included the state of regional and international security as well as ways to improve bilateral defense cooperation.
