The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in Kuala Lumpur presented Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Planning, Development, and Special Initiative, with an award for his exceptional contribution to socioeconomic development initiatives through policy, strategic thinking, effective leadership, and management.

According to a news statement from the Ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiatives, he was presented with the honor during the 66th meeting of the Asian Productivity Organization’s Governing Body in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pakistan is one of the organization’s 21 member nations.

Throughout all of his terms as federal minister, he was recognized for his accomplishments and for bringing new ideas to bear on boosting Pakistani production through global networks.

Unmute Ahmad Iqbal developed progressive laws and policies that made a substantial contribution to Pakistan’s general growth and productive agenda. It further stated that the award honors people who, with their labor, creative ideas, and influence, have made outstanding contributions to raising socioeconomic output at the local, national, or international levels.

The organization, which was founded in 1961, is dedicated to sustainable socioeconomic development by providing policy consulting services across a range of industries. It encourages productivity in the Asia-Pacific area through mutual cooperation.
