In two trials involving his divisive tweets, Senator Azam Swati was found not guilty by the court.

Azam Swati was charged under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) at the hearing, which took place at the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad.

Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka declared the senator not guilty in both counts.
