Balochistan introduces an electric bike program with convenient payment plans.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti presided over the 21st meeting of the Balochistan provincial cabinet, which approved a number of important measures targeted at the province’s better governance, economic expansion, and public welfare.

The prime minister’s support of new communication and education initiatives in Balochistan was acknowledged by the cabinet.

The provincial cabinet has approved an electric bike program that will assist the general public, government workers, working women, and students by providing flexible installment plans and 30% subsidies. Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that the program will be available to all societal groups and will be funded by banks.

Regarding healthcare issues, the cabinet pointed out that the provincial government spends between Rs6 and Rs7 billion a year on treating about 250,000 government workers. Along with audits of the Public Endowment Fund and advance medical payments, a comprehensive health insurance program for government employees was established in order to enhance services.

In an effort to give young people access to economic possibilities, the cabinet also approved the Enterprise Development Program’s expansion to Gwadar, Kech, and Awaran. Chief Minister Bugti reaffirmed the government’s commitment to meritocracy and fair resource allocation, emphasizing that merit-based appointments are essential to successful governance.
