Balochistan is experiencing cold weather, with Quetta seeing some snow and light rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, most districts in Balochistan will stay chilly and partly cloudy on Friday. In the evening, light rain is predicted in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Chagai, Nokundi, Dalbandin, and surrounding areas, while light snowfall is predicted in mountainous areas.
Quetta saw a minimum temperature of minus two degrees Celsius, while Kalat, Ziarat, and Zhob recorded minus seven, eight, and zero degrees, respectively.
Sibi, Turbat, Nokundi, and Chaman recorded temperatures of 8°C, 12°C, and 3°C, respectively.
Coastal areas also suffered cold weather, with Gwadar reaching 10°C and Jiwani at 12°C.
Quetta inhabitants are dealing with unexpected power load shedding and decreased gas pressure despite the extreme cold.
The public’s problems have been made worse by the high cost of wood, coal, and LPG, which has increased mental stress during the severe winter months.
