Before important negotiations in Islamabad, a free shuttle service was introduced for the media.

In an effort to facilitate journalists’ mobility during significant international negotiations, the Pakistani government has launched a free shuttle service in Islamabad for both domestic and foreign media representatives.

The shuttle service, which will take journalists to the Media Facilitation Center located at the Jinnah Convention Center, will begin operating on April 11, 2026, at 6:00 am, according to an official release.

The service will leave from the Centaurus Mall (F-8 side parking) at regular intervals.

Before boarding the shuttle, media representatives are instructed by the authorities to bring their specially issued Jinnah Convention Center access cards. A way to get in touch with the appropriate authorities for more information has also been made available.

This effort is seen by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as a crucial move to guarantee media convenience and facilitate better coverage.
