Bilawal labels the opposing party as a ‘political devil’ and issues a warning regarding military assaults and terrorist threats.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), vehemently condemned a political party in Pakistan, labeling it a “political devil” during a media address in Lahore.

He asserted that his party’s electoral triumph in Muzaffargarh was lawful, although contended that a victory in Dera Ghazi Khan was unjustly transformed into a defeat. He cautioned that Pakistan is at a perilous moment due to internal and external threats.

Bilawal accused India of scheming against Pakistan and endeavoring to incite terrorism within the nation, while also emphasizing escalating security threats from Afghanistan. He asserted that terrorists traverse borders, assault Pakistani soldiers, and thereafter retreat to secure havens, thereby generating significant national security threats. He commended Pakistan’s military for safeguarding the nation and combating terrorism on various fronts, asserting that separatist factions within Pakistan receive external help.

He also condemned political entities that, in his view, are orchestrating campaigns against military leadership, particularly on social media, during critical periods. Although he opposed outright prohibitions on political parties, Bilawal cautioned that assaults on military facilities are intolerable and may result in legal constraints. He dismissed demands for the imposition of governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but warned that hindering counter-terrorism operations could exacerbate the situation and lead to constitutional difficulties.
