British airline Norse Atlantic is allowed to fly to Pakistan: Khawaja Asif

Khawaja Asif, the Minister of Defense, revealed that Pakistan has given the British carrier Norse Atlantic permission to fly.
PML-N leader Khawaja Asif announced on Twitter that the airline will start flying directly from London, Manchester, and Birmingham to Islamabad.
He stated that more international airlines flying to Pakistan would make the aviation industry more competitive, which would lead to better services for passengers and lower airfares.
The Defence Minister added in another X message that PIA will start flying directly to London Heathrow again on March 29, 2026, following a six-year absence.
He stated that this big accomplishment is the product of the hard work and dedication of Pakistan Civil Aviation and PIA. They are restoring PIA’s international reputation, which was damaged by an imprudent statement made by the former aviation minister.
Khawaja Asif also added that at first, there will be four flights a week, but this number is expected to go up in the future.
