China provides Pakistan with its third round of humanitarian relief for flood victims.

According to Pakistani official media on Friday, China has sent Pakistan a third shipment of humanitarian aid for the nation’s flood-affected towns.
In Pakistan, one of the countries most vulnerable to climate change, severe rains and floods this year killed over 1,037 people and ruined crops valued at billions of dollars.
Millions of people were displaced by the floods, which destroyed over 22,800 cattle in the impacted areas, damaged over 229,000 dwellings, and swept away 2,811 kilometres of roads and 790 bridges.
The shipment was received by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), which expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for promptly supporting disaster relief operations in Pakistan.
According to the station Radio Pakistan, “the shipment marks the continuation of China’s humanitarian support.” “It consists of 8,000 blankets, 5,000 tents, and 100 boats.”
According to the article, China has so far given Pakistan 4,000 sleeping bags, 1,000 life jackets, 100 boats, 6,000 tents, and 33,000 blankets.
The issues faced by Pakistanis who have been moved have been made worse by the arrival of the most recent shipment, which coincides with the start of winter.
In accordance with “ground needs and evolving situation assessments,” the NDMA reaffirmed its commitment to mobilise all available resources and guarantee the provision of assistance products in impacted areas.
