CM Murad promises the victims of Gul Plaza complete rehabilitation.

In order to examine the procedure and speak with traders impacted by the Gul Plaza tragedy, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah stopped by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) verification counters.
He promised them that his administration will fully compensate them for their losses and temporarily house them at Parking Plaza, New Jamia Market, and Royal Market on Korangi Road, according to a statement.
As directed by the chief minister, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has installed counters to confirm the ownership or tenancy claims and loss claims made by traders impacted by the Gul Plaza event.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Karachi Commissioner Hassan Naqvi, provincial ministers Nasir Hussain Shah and Jam Ikram Dharejo, and other high-ranking officials joined the chief minister.
The chief minister met with Javed Bilwani and Zubair Motiwala, two KCCI leaders, at the parliament. Numerous store owners who had been impacted by Gul Plaza were in attendance as the verification of losses proceeded at designated counters. Traders were checking for inventory losses and claims pertaining to shop ownership or tenancy. In order to watch the verification procedure firsthand, the chief minister went to the counters.
“The Sindh government has already paid Rs10 million each to 45 families of the 62 martyrs of the tragedy,” Murad Ali Shah told the crowd. He also stated that 1,153 compensation checks totaling Rs500,000 were prepared for distribution to the impacted merchants.
“Until the impacted traders are fully recovered, we will not stop working to ensure their full rehabilitation,” he declared.
Leading a discussion in the KCCI conference room, the chief minister described the occurrence as terrible and conveyed his profound sadness.
The government has decided to support the victims in every manner, he said, adding that President Asif Ali Zardari has ordered that the suffering of the impacted families be shared and that their rehabilitation be guaranteed.
