CM Murad promises to prosecute extortionists.

Syed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, announced on Friday that the province’s government has once again begun a thorough campaign against organized crime and extortion, promising to prosecute those who engage in these activities.

CM Sindh reaffirmed that the government would accomplish comparable outcomes once more and that extortion had previously been effectively reduced through the combined efforts of police, Rangers, and intelligence organizations.

In an interview with the media, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that he has already met in-depth to discuss extortion. He said that extortionist handlers are headquartered abroad and that he had written to the federal government about them.

Murad Ali Shah added that the federal government has notified them that Interpol has been engaged in order to apprehend the head of the foreign-based extortion mafia.

Prior to this, the Sindh Chief Minister presided over a high-level meeting about the infrastructure in Karachi’s industrial districts. A total of Rs 9.28 billion was authorized for industrial zone expansion and rehabilitation, with a focus on grant-in-aid funding for industrialists.
