CM Sohail Afridi’s comments disparaging security forces are denounced by Kundi.

Faisal Karim Kundi, the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, vehemently denounced Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s comments against the security forces on Friday.

According to Faisal Karim Kundi, casting doubt on the military’s motivations damages both public safety and military morale. He underlined that the goal of intelligence-based operations is to restore peace and safeguard citizens.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s comments was also sharply denounced by the Khyber Union of Journalists and the Peshawar Bar Association, who said that it was a disrespect to state institutions. They insisted that the Chief Minister apologize for his remarks without reservation right away.

It is important to note that the Chief Minister’s remarks were also denounced by the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council. According to Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, political opposition shouldn’t go so far as to undermine the nation’s and the Pakistan Army’s reputation.
