Controlling the fire at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar

The fire that started on Friday in the basement of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar’s Outpatient Department (OPD) has been contained.

Rescue personnel believe that a short circuit was the primary source of the incident. He said that the smoke was removed using smoke ejectors. There were no reported casualties from the incident.

They said that 20 members of Rescue 1122, two ambulances, and four fire department vehicles participated in the firefighting effort. They claimed that prompt response got the fire under control.
