“We reflect on the profound significance of identity in our society as we commemorate International Identity Day today,” he stated.
According to the prime minister, it is crucial for inclusion, representation, and access to basic services and goes beyond simple acknowledgment.
In order to create a more inclusive world where everyone’s rights are acknowledged and protected, the prime minister asked everyone to work together. “I demand that individuals, civic associations, and governmental establishments come together to promote an environment of consciousness and instruction concerning identity-related matters.”
He emphasized how important it is to pinpoint and close the major holes in the current system of national registration and biometrics. In order to improve the accuracy of identification verification and expedite service access, the prime minister also encourages the integration of digital solutions and innovation.
“While we undertake these endeavors, my administration is committed to putting into effect the laws that support accountability and transparency in order to build citizen trust and stimulate increased civic engagement, ultimately fortifying our country’s democratic foundation.”
